Life Training Center
The Tangan Pengharapan Community Empowerment aims to bring rural communities out of poverty and train them to develop natural and human resources potential in agriculture, stockbreeding, increasing agricultural yield, and building water tanks to deal with drought. There are two main activities of the Community Empowerment program, namely:
- Empowerment Training
To improve the community's skills and abilities in farming, stockbreeding, and developing existing natural resources, the Tangan Pengharapan Foundation provides training for people living in rural areas. We established a Life-Training Center or Tangan Pengharapan Field School in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara so that we can provide training in the following areas:
- Agriculture
- Stockbreeding
- Manufacture of water tanks and bokashi fertilizer
- Empowerment Assistance
Empowerment assistance is carried out according to the training provided by Tangan Pengharapan. This activity is held to help the participants with difficulties applying the knowledge gained during the training. And with this activity, it is hoped that the community can achieve maximum results.
Apart from that, the Community Empowerment Program also holds expo exhibitions or harvest festivals to attract other community's interest in farming activities, so they can have better income and living standards.
