Established in 2007, Tangan Pengharapan was born from the nation's children's dream, who long to get the Indonesian people out of adversity and poverty, the unequal distribution and high cost of education, and hope to build and change a better future for the Indonesian generation.We emphasize education, community empowerment, and health to gain equal access to education and health to build a prosperous, just, and affluent society.

The Peduli Sesama Tangan Pengharapan program is present to share concern for underprivileged communities and improve living standards through the Bangkit Lagi movement, and free medical treatment and Disaster Response.
The Bangkit Lagi movement comes with the concept of providing assistance to underprivileged communities so that they have a better standard of living and live more independently, and sustainably. Tangan Pengharapan has distributed assistance in the form of business capital in the form of storefront stalls complete with contents, online motorcycle taxi passenger helmets, street vendor carts, and garbage carts to people in need in the Jabodetabek area.
